This policy explains how 5ran6 Technologies ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through 5ran6.tech and in the course of providing our services.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, company name, location, and the contents of your message.
- Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Client information. During an engagement we may process data belonging to your organization under the terms of a separate agreement.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request.
- To send occasional updates, where you have explicitly opted in.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
3. Form submissions
Our contact form is delivered through FormSubmit, a third-party form-relay service, which transmits your submission to our info@5ran6.tech mailbox. Your message passes through their infrastructure in transit. If you would prefer not to use the form, email us directly at info@5ran6.tech.
4. Legal basis
Where the Nigeria Data Protection Act or the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (form submissions and newsletter), the performance of a contract (client work), and our legitimate interests (website security and operation).
5. Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — our hosting provider, our email provider, and the form-relay service named above — and where required by law. All are bound to handle it on our instructions.
6. Retention
Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us unless you ask us to erase them sooner. Client records are retained for as long as required by our contracts and applicable law.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal information, object to or restrict its processing, withdraw consent at any time, and request a copy in a portable format. Email info@5ran6.tech and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or your local supervisory authority.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to our mailboxes is restricted and authenticated. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive credentials or financial details through the contact form.
